Information Sent to Us
Search Queries
A name, location, or other term entered into a search tool is passed to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Elbert County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy notice controls what happens after the request leaves this service.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or message sent through a contact form can include the details a visitor chooses to provide. Those messages are kept as needed to read, respond, and maintain a record of the exchange. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Like most public web services, a page request may create routine technical logs. The categories can include:
- Internet Protocol address.
- Browser name and version.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and the time spent on each page.
- The referring website, when one is supplied.
- Request and access timestamps.
Cookies
Cookies and similar storage may help measure how visitors use the service and remember technical settings. A browser can block or delete cookies. Some tools or page features may work differently when that setting is used.
How the Information Is Used
Collected information is used for ordinary service and administration needs, including the following:
- Keep the pages available and improve page speed.
- Route a search request to the correct partner service.
- Understand which pages and features visitors find useful.
- Find, diagnose, and correct technical problems.
- Show advertising that may be relevant to a visitor's interests.
Links and Advertising
Pages may link to the Elbert County Sheriff's Office, the sheriff-linked Elbert County Detention Center roster, the Elbert County Clerk of Court, Georgia corrections, federal locators, and outside search tools. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's own privacy notice and data practices apply.
Some advertising partners can use their own cookies or similar tools to measure activity across more than one website and to deliver interest-based ads. That activity occurs on the partner's systems, not under the control of this service.
Who May Receive Data
Personal information is not sold by Elbert County Busted Mugshots. It may be available to the following groups when their role requires it:
- Search partners that process a query submitted through their tool.
- Analytics providers that measure page use and performance.
- Advertising networks that deliver or measure ads.
- Law-enforcement or government bodies responding to a valid legal order or other lawful demand.
Security Limits
Reasonable, standard safeguards are used for the information handled by this service. No internet-connected system is completely secure, so Elbert County Busted Mugshots cannot promise that data will be immune from every breach, attack, loss, or unauthorized access.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has submitted information, a parent or guardian may use the contact route to request that it be deleted.
Your Privacy Choices
Subject to applicable law and reasonable identity checks, a visitor may ask about information held in connection with a message or other direct interaction. Available requests can include:
- A copy of personal data held about the requester.
- Correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion of information that no longer needs to be retained.
- Opting out of certain uses or processing where that choice is available.
Requests can be sent through the Contacts route. A search query passed directly to a third-party provider must be addressed with that provider because this service does not retain the query on its own systems.
Changes to This Notice
This notice may be revised when the service, vendors, or legal requirements change. The current version is posted here, and a material revision may include a new effective date. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised practices.
